Chinese Pork Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1lb ground pork 
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch 
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
- 6 garlic cloves, minced 
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar 
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce 
- 1 teaspoon Asian five-spice powder 
- 2 pinches ground white pepper 
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil 
Sauce
- Green onions, sliced (or chive) 
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce 
- 3 tablespoons Tamari 
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce 
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar 
- 2-3 tablespoons sriracha sauce 
In a large bowl combine pork, cornstarch, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, five spice and pepper… mix well.
Roll meat into even balls, you may end up with 15-20 balls.
In a wok or skillet over medium heat, heat peanut oil and cook meatballs in batches. Roll meatballs when flipping to cook them fully, 2-4 min per side.
While meatballs are cooking, mix the sauce ingredients. Dip meatballs, enjoy.
